About me

My Artistic Journey
For decades, following the completion of my studies, I have been
artistically active in various fields: music, writing, and - for several
years now - photography. I acquired my skills in digital photography
through a multimedia training program at the GraTeach Training
Center in Kamp-Lintfort, and later through private study with Professor
Dirk Slawski. Everything else comes from within me: joy, curiosity,
meditation, experience, and artistic intuition.
Rarely am I as fully present in the here and now as when I am taking
photographs. I focus my senses on what the eye sees, what stimulates
the mind, and what touches the soul. This often results in wonderful,
engaging, and inspiring images that never cease to amaze me.
Landscapes - but also the everyday, the banal, and the inconspicuous - transform into something special when viewed through the lens and
captured on the sensor; they are truly perceived and seen. I
photograph without elaborate planning, high expectations, or
technical fuss - photography cannot be forced.
Being alert and attentive - in the right place at the right time - that is
enough; it is akin to meditation. The images flow through me.
That is
why I do not wish to lock my photographs away in an archive, but
rather send them out into the world. I hope you enjoy them. You can also purchase the images in various formats.
